Recently, a friend asked for squeaky clean book recommendations for her book club. It can be tough to find perfectly clean adult fiction (or non-fiction for that matter). And sometimes you want it for your church group or your mother/daughter book club, or just because you don't like reading dirty words, or dirty various other things. Here are four of my favorites. They're all lovely to read and make for good discussion. Enjoy!
Fiction:
Peace Like a River by Lief Enger
The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd
Non-fiction:
A Woman in the Polar Night by Christiane Ritter
The Art of the Commonplace: The Agrarian Essays of Wendell Berry by Wendell Berry and Norman Wirzba
