Just read your piece in Authors Publish about writing tips for moms. Awesome! I'm in the same boat (Kids 4 and 1 with books in between.) I thought your suggestions were right on the money.

DeleteI read your article in Authors Publish also! It's so lovely to find other mothers in the same boat I'm in. Your article read like my life. I also have four kids; mine are 8 and under. Some days I wonder why on earth I would attempt to raise young children and write, but it's too hard to quit, so it must be something I'm supposed to be doing. :) Congratulations on winning the contest as well!
ReplyDeleteI've totally been there. My oldest is 13 now and my youngest 6, so this year it just got a bit easier, but for many years I wrote in the stolen moments of my day. Wasn't always easy, but I loved writing, and I felt like it gave me a little niche (not that I didn't love mothering because I did, but I loved having my niche too).
